There is a new single release from Bill Lloyd in 2015 released on his label Whole In One Records and for fans of the “power-pop” musical genre, this qualifies as good news.

Just last year, Lloyd revisited his critically acclaimed 1994 Set To Pop album with a 20-year- anniversary new release of out-takes, re-makes and live tracks from the songs on that celebrated collection called RESET2014 that received wonderful notices from old and new fans alike.

The new single features two songs that are co-written with longtime friends and musical compadres.

Yesterday was co-written with Tom Petersson from Cheap Trick and features Tom playing bass on the recording.

Miracle Mile was co-written with “guitarist to the stars”, Nashville’s Pat Buchanan.

Both recordings feature Lloyd playing all the instruments and singing all the parts with the exception of Tom’s guest appearance on bass. Another longtime musical friend, Jonathan Bright, producer and member of Raelyn Nelson Band, recorded and mixed the tracks

A limited edition run of the single will be pressed on CD that will include three bonus tracks making it an EP. The three bonus songs date back to the early 2000’s and are out-takes from his home studio work but should quickly find favor to fans of Lloyd’s sharp songwriting and musicality.

Yesterday and Miracle Mile will be available on ITUNES AUGUST 14, 2015.
