Letter From John Borack

November 30, 2015 4:30 pm

Hello Everyone,

I wanted to let you all know of something cool that’s going on with the Elvis C. tribute: one of the tunes, “Pump It Up” by The Rubinoos, has been nominated to be “The 2015 Coolest Song of the Year” on Little Steven’s Underground Garage.

The winner is decided by a fan vote, so there’s a “listeners poll” going on over at the LSUG website, now thruDecember 27. Visit the following link, scroll down to March 22, and cast your vote:
http://undergroundgarage.com/radio-show-2/the-coolest-songs-in-the-world-2015.html.
Important note: you can vote once every 24 hours.

Even if the song is not your track, it’d be cool if you wouldn’t mind sharing the above info with your fans via social media, email, etc., because anything that helps draw more attention to “Beyond Belief” is a good thing, since it’ll hopefully result in more copies being sold and more money being donated to The Mr. Holland’s Opus Foundation. If others want to share it, too, the more the merrier.

The “Coolest Song of 2015” winner will be announced on New Year’s Day, during Kid Leo’s “Year End Review of 2015″ show on Sirius XM-21 where Kid Leo will play all 50 “Coolest Songs” of 2015.

As a reminder, here’s the link where the tribute can be purchased (because, y’know, Christmas gift): http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/beyondbeliefatributetoel

Once again, thanks to all of you for your support of the project, and to the good folks at Spyderpop Records for all their hard work. And I’ll leave you with a few words that were spoken directly to me last month about “Beyond Belief”:
“I’ve heard it and it’s quite good.” – Pete Thomas
“I’ve been reading a lot about this. Thank you.” – Elvis Costello

Thanks!

John Borack
