Big Stir Singles: The Sixth Wave

Co-captained by Rex and Christina, two gracious humans/musicians that no dog would bite, Big Stir releases an astounding amount of music that will appeal to a variety of tastes in the PowerPop/Rock pantheon. Though I have great affection for certain label artists (Trip Wire, Plasticsoul come immediately to mind), I highly recommend their Big Stir Singles series.
Each release is cleverly titled with a numbered wave, and my heroes are up to the imminent release of The Seventh Wave (which I was privileged to preview). But for right now, I’m picking Big Stir Singles: The Sixth Wave. Which doesn’t really matter if you do what you should and buy every wave. Now. It’ll be like owning a great jukebox.
And for goodness sakes, buy their comic book format magazines – WAY cool!
